On 11 February 2026, UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented the final budget for the second term of Yogi government. This budget of ₹9.12 lakh crore is being considered as a strong step towards making UP a one trillion dollar economy. Focus is on development, governance and public welfare. GSDP has grown by 13% to reach ₹30.25 lakh crore. Sugarcane payments for farmers, employment mission for youth and higher support for women have been announced.
