
Legendary actress Tanuja Mukherjee of Hindi cinema is celebrating her 82nd birthday on 23 September. The actress, who belongs to the film family, shared the screen with big actors in many films in her career.

Tanuja started his career as a child actress from her mother’s home production film ‘Hamari Beti’. The film was released in 1950. The actress was also highly appreciated for her work.

In the 70s, he used to rule in Hindi films like Tanuja. In Hindi films, his pairing with Rajesh Khanna, while in Bengali films, he liked him very much with Uttam Kumar and Soumitra Chatterjee. Apart from this, the actress has also worked in many Punjabi films including Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam.

At the age of 13, Hasina moved to Switzerland for her studies and learned English, French and German there. But at the age of 16, he decided to leave studies and make his career in the film industry.

During college days, he made his mother Shobhana Samarth debut with a comedy film. The film ‘Chhabili’ was released in 1958 and through this the actress made her first step in Bollywood. But the film ‘Hamara Yaad Aayegi’ released in 1961 proved to be an important role in his popularity.
