There was a time when Karisma Kapoor’s films and her beauty were discussed. Karisma entered Bollywood in the 90s and proved that the girls of the Kapoor family are no less in acting. Karisma added a new color to every character, be it a romantic role or an emotional drama.

Karisma Kapoor was born on 25 June 1974 in Mumbai. Karisma Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with the film Prem Qaidi.
She established herself as a leading actress in the 1990s and gave hits like ‘Raja Hindustani’ and ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’
Even after doing many films in her early career, Karisma Kapoor did not get much recognition and then in the year 1922, she tasted her first hit film with Ajay Devgan in her seventh film Jigar.
Karisma Kapoor made her mark with films like Anari, Muqabla, Dhanwaan, Raja Babu, Khuddaar, Andaz, Andaz Apna-Apna, Suhaag, Gopi Kishan, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural and Jeet.
In the 90s, her pairing with Govinda was a big hit. With Govinda, Karisma gave blockbuster films like Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Muqabla, Hero No. 1 and Haseena Maan Jayegi.
After marrying Delhi-based Sanjay Kapoor in 2003, Karisma Kapoor stayed away from Bollywood for a few years and returned to films in 2006.
In the year 2006, she did the film Mere Jeevan Saathi with Akshay Kumar and Ameesha Patel, which was very much liked by the fans. Then she disappeared from Bollywood for six years.
In the year 2012, Rajneesh Duggal returned to the big screen with the starrer film Dangerous Ishq, but then Karisma Kapoor sat at home and started doing guest appearances in isolated films, which also included Bombay Talkies and Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film Zero.
