The Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working on conservation of indigenous cows and promoting dairy industry. In this episode, under the Nand Baba Milk Mission, now Mini Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana has been started. Through this scheme, cows of indigenous breed will be encouraged in the state and the income of farmers will also increase. The biggest advantage of this scheme is that the government will give subsidy of up to Rs 11.80 lakh on opening the dairy of domestic cows.

What is Nand Baba Milk Mission?

The state government has started the Nand Baba Milk Mission at a cost of about Rs 1000 crore. The aim is that Uttar Pradesh became the leading state of the country in milk production. Through this mission, milk cooperatives are being made in every village so that farmers can get the right price of their milk directly in the village itself.

How much will you get help?

The total cost of Mini Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana is Rs 23.60 lakh. Out of this, the government will give 50 percent i.e. 11.80 lakh rupees as a grant. The beneficiary will have to invest 15% of the amount. 35% bank will be covered through loan. The amount of grant will be released in two installments.

Who can take advantage?

  • The beneficiary should be a local resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Aadhaar card is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years experience of cow or buffalo rearing is necessary.
  • There should be about 8712 square feet of land for dairy.

how to apply?

In order to get the benefit of this scheme, farmers will have to apply online. For this, you have to apply by visiting the official website https://nandbabadugdhmission.up.gov.in. Hardcopy of necessary documents will also have to be submitted to the department.

How will the selection be?

The beneficiaries for Mini Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana will be selected from the e-Lottery System.
