The police is now investigating the suspicious death of Sumit Kumar and Rekha on Saturday at Dadri Road, Sector 107 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, considering it a suicide. Because a WhatsApp note has been found from Sumit’s mobile in which he has talked about Rekha betraying his love of 15 years. Whereas the family members had accused Rekha’s family of murder.
The WhatsApp note found by the police read – “I am Sumit. I am going to give up my life. Rekha is responsible for my death. We were in a relationship for 15 years, were about to get married. But now she is marrying someone else. She has cheated me.” This message was sent to the family. Due to which it is believed that Sumit killed himself by shooting after Rekha. At present investigation is still going on in this case.
What was the whole matter?
On Saturday (February 14), between 12 noon and 1 pm, a sanitation worker informed the police that the blood-soaked bodies of a boy and a girl were lying in a car. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot. The doors of the car were closed from inside. By breaking the glass, the police took out the bodies of both of them. Both were sent for post-mortem.
Were in relationship for 15 years
According to family members, Sumit was a resident of Trilokpuri, Delhi and he owned a mineral water plant. Not only this, he was also a division level cricketer. Whereas Rekha was a resident of Sector 101 Salarpur, Noida and worked in an IT company. Both knew each other for 15 years. Sumit’s family did not raise any objection to the marriage, but Rekha’s family was not ready because they belonged to different castes.
Both the families were aware of the relationship, there were many disputes and the matter even reached the police station. In recent times, Rekha’s decision to get married has mentally broken Sumit. Perhaps this is why Sumit took the dreadful step.
