In this match, 25 wickets kept falling one after the other, in which two teams were all out and the game ended within two days. This match was played between Services and Assam. This is the first time in the history of Ranji Trophy that two bowlers of the same team have taken hat-tricks in the same innings. Arjun Sharma and Mohit Jangra did this work for services. Arjun Sharma started taking the hat-trick. Arjun dismissed three Assam players on the third, fourth and fifth balls of the 12th over. After this, Mohit Jangra took a wicket on the last ball of the 15th over and when he came again in the 17th over, this bowler got a wicket on the first and second ball also.

In this first class match of Ranji Trophy, Assam won the toss and decided to bat first. But the services bowlers overpowered the Assam team and in just 17.2 overs, the Assam team was all out for 103 runs in the first innings. In response, the Services team could score only 108 runs in 29.2 overs. Services got a lead of only 5 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, Assam’s condition was worse than before. Assam team was all out for 75 runs in 29.3 overs in the second innings. Services had a target of 71 runs in the second innings, which the team achieved in 13.5 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. With this, Services won the match by 8 wickets.
