Farmer ID has been made mandatory for new applicants in many states. Without valid land records and necessary identification, it may be difficult to get the 22nd installment.

If e-KYC is not done then the installment may get stuck

As per the orders of the government, it is necessary to complete e-KYC. Farmers who have not yet done e-KYC. His installment can be stopped. This process is online and easy. Farmers can do OTP based e-KYC through the official portal or mobile app.

In some cases, biometric verification may also be necessary. If there is a mistake in your Aadhaar or your mobile number is not updated, then problems can also arise. Therefore, check all the information before the 22nd installment. Otherwise, due to small carelessness, Rs 2 thousand can get stuck.

Aadhaar linked bank account required

The installment is transferred directly to the bank account. Therefore, it is necessary to link the bank account with Aadhaar. If the account is not linked to Aadhaar or the NPCI mapping is not updated then payment may fail. The previous installment of many farmers was stopped only because of this reason. Apart from this, mismatch in name, date of birth or bank details can also cause problems.

There has been no official announcement regarding the date of the 22nd installment yet. But according to media reports, there is a possibility of transfer of money before Holi. It is better that farmers complete all the necessary formalities from now on.
