Under-19 Asia Cup has started from today, the first match of the tournament was played between India and UAE. India hit a total of 20 sixes and 31 fours while scoring 433 runs. Out of these 20, 14 sixes were hit by Vaibhav Suryavanshi alone, who was out after scoring 171 runs. Vihaan Malhotra also contributed 69 runs. Vedant Trivedi scored 38 runs and Abhigyan Kundu made important contributions in taking Team India beyond 400. Kundu returned unbeaten after scoring 32 runs in 17 balls. Apart from Abhigyan Kundu, Kanishk Chauhan also batted brilliantly and scored 28 runs in 12 balls.
Third highest score in Under-19 ODI history
India has made the third highest score in the history of Under-19 ODI cricket. Earlier, India’s highest score in an Under-19 ODI match was 425, which it made against Scotland in 2004. Now Team India has scored 433 runs. The highest score in ODI cricket at Under-19 level is 480, which was made by Australia against Kenya in 2002. The second highest score is in the name of New Zealand, which scored 436 runs against Kenya in 2018.
