2025 Asia Cup will be played in September, Venue revealed! Indo-Pak match also updated

There was nothing clear even after the Indian team playing in the Asia Cup, but according to the latest update, a total of 8 teams including India and Pakistan are going to participate in this tournament.

So far, BCCI, ACC and ICC have not released any official statement in this regard, but according to the Times of India, the Indian team is also going to participate in this tournament. The countries participating in the tournament will be named India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Oman, UAE and Hong Kong. The Asia Cup was last played in the ODI format in 2023, in which India had trapped Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the final.

It is not yet clear whether India vs Pakistan will be match in the Asia Cup, because the entire schedule has not been released yet. Let us know that at the moment India vs Pakistan match was going to be held in the World Championship of Legends 2025, but the Indian players refused to play in this match. In such a situation, the organizers had to cancel the India Champions vs Pakistan Champions match.

Unlike the previous edition, the Asia Cup will be played in 2025 T20 format. This will be the first time that a total of 8 teams will be participating in an Asia Cup tournament. This time, senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja will not play in the Asia Cup, as these three players have retired from T20 format.
