Under this scheme, the Government of India has now provided LPG facility to a total of 10.58 crore people. Since 2021, this work is being done even faster. Documents required to apply
To apply for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme, it is very important to have documents given below –
- Aadhaar Card of Women’s Banifying (E KYC)
- BPL Ration Card / Poverty Line Certificate
- Bank passbook / account number
- Passport Size Photo
- Residential Certificate (Ration Card / Voter ID etc.)
How to apply?
How can you apply online or offline in Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0. To apply in this, you have to follow the steps given below.
How to apply online?
- For online application, you have to first go to the official website of your LPG company (eg – Indane).
- After this, go there and click on the option of New Ujjwala Yojana 2.0.
- Then an application form will open in front of you. Fill your necessary details in that application form and upload the necessary document.
- After this, click on submit. After submitting the form, download it and submit a copy of all the documents to the nearest gas dealer.
- After 10-15 days, free gas stove and cylinder will be installed at your house.
How to apply offline
- To apply offline, first of all go to your gas agency and take the application form of Ujjwala scheme.
- After this, fill your name, address, Aadhaar card number, information of other family members, bank account number, BPL card/ration card number.
- Then go to the nearest gas agency and submit this form.
- After this there will be a document verification and LPG connection will be made available at your home for free.
