3 players of CSK will create ruckus in IPL 2026, all-rounder worth Rs 14.2 crore will become a ‘game changer’

In IPL 2026, five-time champion Chennai Super Kings will play its first match with Rajasthan Royals on March 30. CSK last won the title in 2023, but have not been able to qualify for the playoffs in both the seasons since then. But in 2026, Chennai has a team which has the power to win its sixth title. Here we took a look at those 3 players who can take Chennai Super Kings to new heights this time.

1. Sanju Samson

The first and biggest name is Sanju Samson, who has come to CSK from Rajasthan Royals. Samson is in such tremendous form that he is playing 3 consecutive half-century innings for Team India in the T20 World Cup 2026. He scored 321 runs in the World Cup and was the highest run scorer for India. This time everyone’s eyes will be on him because he is going to make his debut for Chennai Super Kings.

2. Karthik Sharma

19 year old wicketkeeper batsman Karthik Sharma was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the mini auction for Rs 14.20 crore. After the auction, CSK coach Stephen Fleming had said that he had his eyes on Karthik for a long time and he has taken a big bet on Karthik at the right time. Since MS Dhoni’s retirement does not seem to be far away, it is possible that in future, Karthik will be groomed as the backup wicketkeeper to Sanju Samson.

3. Prashant Veer

Chennai Super Kings had also made a huge bid of Rs 14.2 crore on 20-year-old Prashant Veer. Prashant is important for CSK because after the departure of Ravindra Jadeja, he can play the role of left arm spin bowling all-rounder in the team. He took 9 wickets in 7 matches while playing for Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. But he impressed the most with his economy rate of 6.76.
