Hong Kong Sixes Tournament: India has announced its team for Hong Kong Sixes. Dinesh Karthik has been given the command of Team India in this tournament. Apart from him, 5 more players have been included in the Indian team. A total of 12 teams will participate in the Hong Kong Sixes. Last year, the Indian team’s journey in this tournament ended in the group stage itself, but this time the fans are hopeful that the team led by Dinesh Karthik will become the champion.

Apart from Shahbaz Nadeem, Abhimanyu Mithun in the Indian team, the name of Priyank Panchal, who recently retired from cricket, has been announced for the tournament on November 1. The names of Dinesh Karthik, Stuart Binny and Bharat Chipli had already been announced. This tournament will be held from 7 to 9 November at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong. A total of 29 matches will be played in three days in this tournament.

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, UAE, Kuwait, Australia, South Africa, England and Hong Kong participate in this tournament. The teams have been divided into four groups and India and Pakistan have been placed together in Group C.

In this tournament, a match is played between two teams of 6 players each and a team can bowl only 6 overs. So in the final match, 8 balls are bowled in one over. Apart from this, except the wicketkeeper, all the players of the team have to bowl one over each. There is no free hit for no ball. However, wide and no ball are counted as extra runs.
