Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s government has taken a big decision to curb noise pollution in Maharashtra. A total of 3,367 loudspeakers have been removed from the places of worship across Maharashtra as part of a concrete effort to reduce the nois pollution. CM Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself is in the assembly.
Loudspeakers will not be applied again
The Mumbai Police alone has managed to remove 1,608 loudspeakers from the places of worship in Mumbai alone. CM Fadnavis said that this achievement has been achieved without any religious or communal tension. Now loudspeakers will not be installed at all religious places in Mumbai.
Along with this, CM Devendra Fadnavis has warned that local police station officials will be responsible for re -installation of loudspeakers without the permission of the officials.
