They are trained in the scheme. Which is 15 days. In which incentive amount of up to Rs 500 is given daily. This money is directly transferred to their bank account. With this help he can complete his daily expenses and start his work again.
Under this scheme, the government gives loans up to Rs 1 lakh to artisans at very low interest rate. On timely payment, a loan of up to two lakh rupees can also be given in the next installment. The aim is that small artisans expand their work and can give employment to others.
This scheme also provides training and modern equipment facilities. Traditional artisans are being prepared according to new technology and market needs. The government has to help people increase their small business through Vishwakarma Yojana.
The special focus of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana is for rural and people living in small cities. Earlier, they did not get bank loan and government help in this scheme. But now this plan is getting them directly platform.
