NIA has taken another major action in the blast case that took place outside the Red Fort in Delhi on November 10. The investigating agency has arrested four more important accused. A total of six people have been arrested so far in this case. All four accused have been sent to NIA remand for 10 days.
These four accused were detained in Srinagar. The accused have been identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai (Pulwama), Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather (Anantnag), Dr. Shaheen Saeed (Lucknow), Mufti Irfan Ahmed Wage (Shopian).
Had an important role in carrying out the attack
According to the NIA investigation, all of them played a big role in planning the blast and carrying out the attack. Many innocent people were killed and many were injured in this attack. Earlier, the investigating agency had arrested Aamir Rashid Ali and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish. The car used in the blast was purchased in the name of Aamir Rashid.
NIA arrested all four accused
Bilal Wani alias Danish had provided technical assistance in the attack. Continuous interrogation of these two is going on so that it can help in capturing the entire terror module and its network. Dr. Muzammil, Adil, Shaheen and Maulvi Irfan were earlier arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police in the explosive recovery. Now Delhi blast NIA has arrested the above four in the conspiracy.
These four accused played an important role in acquiring the i20 car and arranging its movement. They had decided on which route the car would have to be taken safely to Delhi. This entire blueprint was prepared by Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Rather.
Dr. Shahina of Lucknow had organized a meeting with these people under the guise of a medical visit by Fund Chain. She was handling strategic tasks like secure communication. Mufti Irfan Ahmed Wage gave ideological support to this terrorist module. He used to mentally prepare the members of the group by pushing them hard.
