Kieron Pollard has been making waves in the cricket world for the last two decades. Even at the age of 38, this Caribbean batsman is causing havoc. He made headlines by scoring 30 runs in a single over in the International League T20. He achieved this feat in the 29th match of the league, in which MI Emirates faced Dubai Capitals. Pollard scored 30 runs including 4 sixes in a single over of Waqar Salamkhail.
Playing first in this match, Dubai Capitals had scored 122 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, MI Emirates won the match by 8 wickets with 20 balls remaining. Pollard returned unbeaten after scoring 44 runs in 31 balls.
4 sixes, 30 runs in one over
MI Emirates had to score 40 runs in the last 6 overs to win. Waqar Salimkhail came to bowl in the 15th over, who had given only 13 runs in the first 3 overs of his spell. After bowling so hard, even Waqar would not have thought that this day was going to be very bad for him.
Pollard hit a six on the first ball of the 15th over and a four on the second ball. Pollard was swinging the bat so fast that after two hits the umpires had to check the ball to see if it had lost its shape. But the match continued with the same ball. 2 runs came on the third ball, while Pollard scored 6 runs on the last three balls and hit a hat-trick of sixes.

MI has gone to the playoffs
MI Emirates registered 7 wins in 10 matches in the league stage. MI has qualified for the playoffs. MI team will face Desert Vipers in the first qualifier match. The final of the ILT20 league will be played on January 4.
