CSK bought Prashant Veer and Karthik Sharma for Rs 28.4 crore, making them jointly the most expensive uncapped players in IPL history. Rs 14.2 crore- Prashant Veer (CSK)
Chennai Super Kings bought Prashant Veer for Rs 14 crore 20 lakh, his base price was Rs 30 lakh but Sunrisers Hyderabad was also trying hard to buy him. Prashant performed brilliantly in UP T20 League and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. CSK had seen Prashant closely in the trials also, only after which they played a big bet on him.
Rs 14.2 crore- Karthik Sharma (CSK)
Chennai Super Kings also spent Rs 14 crore 20 lakh for Karthik Sharma. Hyderabad was also bidding for Karthik, but keeping the purse balance in mind, Hyderabad had to back out. Prashant and Karthik have jointly become the most expensive uncapped players in IPL history.
Rs 8.4 crore- Aaqib Dar (DC)
Aaqib Dar made a lot of noise in domestic cricket, seeing which Delhi Capitals played a big bet on him. Aaqib’s base price in the auction was Rs 30 lakh. Aaqib’s specialty is his swing bowling, especially in the death overs. He has taken 15 wickets in 7 matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26. His statistics show that he can become a game changer bowler in IPL also.
Rs 3 crore- Tejashwi Singh (KKR)
Tejashwi Singh Dahiya was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 3 crore. Earlier Mumbai was also bidding for him, later Rajasthan Royals also came. Tejashwi is an explosive batsman. His average in T20 is 56.5. Tejashwi scored a half-century in just 12 balls in the Delhi Premier League, in the entire tournament he scored 339 runs at a strike rate of 190. He hit 29 sixes in the tournament.
Rs 2.6 crore- Mukul Choudhary (LSG)
Mukul’s performance in domestic cricket was also excellent, he scores runs at a fast pace. This player from Rajasthan has scored 210 runs in 7 T20 matches at a strike rate of 165.35. On the day of the auction itself, he played an unbeaten inning of 54 runs in 28 balls in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, in which he hit 3 sixes and 4 fours.
Rs 1 crore- Naman Tiwari (LSG)
20 year old Naman Tiwari is a left arm bowler. Naman has been bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 1 crore. Naman’s base price was Rs 30 lakh, Rajasthan Royals were also gambling to buy him but they stopped at Rs 95 lakh.
Rs 90 lakh- Sushant Mishra (RR), Ashok Sharma (GT)
Rajasthan Royals bought Sushant Mishra and Gujarat Titans bought Ashok Sharma for Rs 90 lakh each. The base price of both in the IPL 2026 auction was Rs 30 lakh.
