A major administrative reshuffle has been made in Delhi. Rekha Gupta government has transferred 72 senior officers simultaneously, which includes 36 IAS and 36 DANICS officers. Many officers have also been assigned additional responsibilities along with new postings. This transfer order was issued by the Delhi government on Saturday.
Among the key appointments, IAS Sanjeev Ahuja has been made Education Secretary and has also been given additional charge of Higher Education and Technical Education Department. Neeraj Semwal has been given the additional charge of Secretary of the Electricity Department while being the Revenue Secretary. Padma Jaiswal has been appointed Special Secretary in the Administrative Reforms Department. Vijay Bidhuri has been given the additional charge of DPCC along with Urban Development Secretary.
Yashpal Garg has been made Planning Secretary and has also been given additional responsibility of Land and Building Department. Sunny Kumar Singh has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary (Electricity). In a major change in the Home Department, IAS Santosh D. Vaidya has been appointed Principal Secretary (Home), and he has also been given additional charge of Finance, Planning and Industry Department. IAS Bipul Pathak has been given additional charge of SC, ST and OBC Welfare Department.
