Prime Minister Narendra Modi has entered the electoral fray for Bihar Assembly elections. During this, PM Modi gave a big statement and said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will break all previous electoral records in the state assembly elections. Referring to Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar’s popular nickname ‘Sushasan Babu’, he said, ‘The whole of Bihar is saying – ‘Once again NDA government, once again good governance government.’
PM Modi targeted the opposition India Alliance and said that it is led by people who are released on bail. He said, ‘People of Bihar cannot trust those people who are released on bail. Tejashwi Yadav’s name has come up in the job-for-land scam along with his father and RJD President Lalu Prasad. He said that the emphasis of the NDA government is on increasing investment in Bihar.
PM Modi started election campaign from Samastipur
Regarding the assembly elections in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first election rally in Samastipur district of the state on Friday (October 24, 2025). During this, PM Modi also addressed a public meeting. Addressing the people, PM Modi asked everyone to switch on the light of their mobile phones and took a dig at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), saying, ‘When all people have such modern devices available, there is no need for lanterns.’
PM Modi praised Nitish Kumar
Praising Janata Dal (United) president and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, PM Modi accused the opposition, ‘He (Kumar) came to power in 2005, but almost a decade of his tenure was interrupted by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre, which was continuously blackmailed by the RJD that if the NDA government was supported in Bihar, the RJD would withdraw support.’
PM targets opposition Congress and RJD
PM Modi said, ‘The central assistance given to Bihar in the last 11 years is three times more than the assistance received from the previous government. The state has made progress. It is now exporting fish, which is a big change from the days when it was dependent on other states for its needs. Makhana has access to markets far and wide, which is a famous product of Bihar.
PM Modi, indirectly pointing to the election symbol of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and RJD’s alliance partner Congress, said, ‘If Jungle Raj had existed in Bihar, all this would not have been possible. Don’t you remember that a former Prime Minister had said that out of every rupee sent by the government, only 15 paise reaches the people. The said money was embezzled by Bloody Claws.
Prime Minister Modi gave new slogan in Bihar
During this, PM Modi also gave a new slogan ‘Bihar will run at a new pace, then when the NDA government comes’. He said, ‘Bihar will keep Jungle Raj away and vote for good governance. RJD and Congress are involved in scams, their leaders are out on bail and now they are trying to steal the title of Jananayak of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur. Bihar is the land of talents like Aryabhata and the people here cannot trust the RJD-Congress alliance, which had destroyed the rule of law.
