Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit South Korea on a three-day visit at the end of next week. President Xi Jinping will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting to be held in Gyeongju at the invitation of South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. China has shared information by issuing an official statement in this regard on Friday (October 24, 2025).
According to China’s official statement, Chinese President Xi Jinping will also meet US President Donald Trump during this conference, where important talks are also expected to take place between the Presidents of the two countries to reduce the growing trade tension between the US and China.

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun addressed a press conference in the country’s capital Beijing on Friday (October 24, 2025). He said that Chinese President Xi Jinping will participate in the 32nd meeting of economic leaders of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to be held in Gyeongju at the invitation of the South Korean President. For this, the Chinese President will be on a three-day visit to South Korea from Thursday (October 30, 2025) to Saturday (November 1, 2025) next week.
White House announced about the meeting between Trump and Jinping
At the same time, the White House has already issued an announcement regarding US President Donald Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea. The White House issued an official statement saying that President Donald Trump will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea on Thursday next week (October 30, 2025).
Apart from this, the White House has also said that the meeting between Trump and Jinping will take place at the end of the US President’s visit to the three Asian countries of Malaysia, Japan and South Korea.
