Australia Women Cricket Team: There has been a stir in Indore after the case of molestation of players of Australia women’s cricket team came to light. According to Indore Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia, this incident occurred at 11 am on Thursday, October 23. Two female players of the Australian team were walking from Hotel Radisson Blu to a nearby cafe. Meanwhile, the young man riding the bike misbehaved with them while walking and ran away with the bike. Australian women’s team has come to India to play the ODI World Cup.
Australian players immediately sent an SOS notification to team security officer Danny Simmons, after which the security team and police reached the spot. MIG police station took immediate action and arrested the accused youth Akil. The accused was identified from CCTV footage. After the incident, questions have started being raised on the security arrangements of Indore Police, especially when there is presence of international players in the city. The police have intensified the investigation into the case and the interrogation of the accused is ongoing.

Indore Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia issued a statement in this matter and said that the accused Akil has been arrested. Additional DCP said that there was police in the hotel, but it is being seen where there is shortage. According to police investigation, the accused is a resident of Azad Nagar. Police investigation is ongoing in this matter.
