Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that State Government Lakhimpur of Kheri district Mustafabad Changing the name of the villageKabirdham” and with this change the historical and cultural identity of the area associated with Sant Kabir will be restored.
,Addressing a gathering during ‘Smriti Mahotsav Mela 2025’, Adityanath Said that he was surprised to know that the name of the village Mustafabad Kept there, even though there is no Muslim population there. He told the gathering, “On asking about this village, I was told that its name is Mustafabad Is. When I asked how many Muslims lived here, I was told that there were none. Then I said that the name should be changed. This Kabirdham “It should be said.”
The Chief Minister further said that his government will seek a formal proposal for changing the name and will take necessary administrative steps. He said, “We will bring the proposal and take it forward. It is about bringing back the respect of the place associated with the legacy of Sant Kabir.”
