Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad described the joint manifesto issued by the Grand Alliance as a bundle of hollow promises and said that even those who made it know that their government is not going to be formed, so what is the harm in making claims?
Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a press conference in Patna that this manifesto is not a joint manifesto, it is a pledge of Tejashwi Yadav. He said, ‘This manifesto presents such a populist picture to the people of Bihar, which has neither any color nor any resolve for change, the people of Bihar also understand this.’
‘Zero tolerance on crime in manifesto’
He said that in this manifesto there is zero tolerance on crime, but nothing has been said on corruption. It is natural that if such a claim was made then the matter would go much further. In fact, those who are claiming to give a new vision are the accused of 420. RJD is a school of corruption and this is their past, present and future also.
Former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said about zero tolerance on crime that he should have also said that now there will be no talks with criminals from the Chief Minister’s residence. RJD goons who snatch land will not do it. Wherever the needle of suspicion of crime goes, we will take action.
‘Tejashwi Yadav is afraid to speak openly on corruption’
The BJP leader sarcastically said that this is neither the pledge of Rahul Gandhi, nor the pledge of the Grand Alliance, this is only the pledge of Tejashwi Yadav. The country knows what happened to Bihar during RJD rule. Regarding Tejashwi Yadav’s claim of doing development work, he said that whatever work was done, it was done by Nitish government and it was because of your corruption that they separated from you.
Nitish Kumar is and will remain a leader: Ravi Shankar Prasad
He said that the work of NDA has started on the ground and will progress further. Tejashwi Yadav is afraid of speaking openly on corruption. The BJP leader expressed his objection to colonization and said that it is against the Constitution. Responding to Tejashwi Yadav’s question about the next CM of Bihar from BJP, he said that Nitish Kumar has been the leader of NDA for 20 years and will remain so. Modi-Nitish partnership is committed to the development of Bihar.
