‘7 new and beautiful jets were shot down’, Trump again reiterated his claim of ceasefire between India and Pakistan

US President Donald Trump has once again claimed to establish ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Trump, who was on a visit to Japan, said that he stopped the war between two nuclear-rich countries by using tariffs as a weapon. The US President said that seven new and beautiful planes were shot down in this war. However, as always, he did not tell which country’s aircraft were shot down.

Addressing American troops in Japan, Donald Trump said, ‘Our country’s national security and all the wars I stopped were because of tariffs. To be honest, I did a great service to the world through trade and tariffs. If you look at India and Pakistan, they were fighting each other at that time.

Talked to Modi and Pakistan’s Field Marshal: Trump
Trump claimed that he had clearly told Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan’s military chief, ‘If you guys go to war, we will not do any business with you.’ The US President said that at that time both the nuclear-armed countries were ready to confront each other and ‘seven beautiful new planes were shot down.’ According to Trump, the situation came under control only after his strict warning.

Trump said – ‘I should get the Nobel Peace Prize’
Trump said that he resolved eight major conflicts of the world through tariff policy and he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution in stopping the India-Pakistan war. He said, ‘If I had not taken action at that time, a major war could have broken out.’

India rejected Trump’s claim
India has consistently rejected this claim of Donald Trump. The Indian Foreign Ministry has clarified that the decision to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan was taken through direct diplomatic contacts between the two countries and no third party had any role in it.
