The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the School Academic Performance Report Card of all affiliated schools across the country for the academic session 2024–25. This report card presents a detailed assessment of the academic achievements of schools and their overall performance. The objective of this initiative is to promote data-based analysis and evidence-based educational planning in schools, so that the quality of education can be further improved.

What’s in this report card
This report card presents a holistic analysis of the performance of schools in class 10th and 12th board examinations. It contains several important points
The report card compares the school’s results with the average marks of CBSE schools at the state level and across the country. This will make it easier for schools to understand where their performance stands at the national level. Subject wise analysis is given in the report which shows in which subjects the school is doing well and which subjects need improvement.
Along with this, a comparison of the performance of boys and girls has also been given in the report. This will help schools take concrete steps to improve gender equity.

How to see report card
CBSE said that all schools can check their report cards through CBSE School Login Portal. For this, schools will have to use their login credentials (User ID and Password). After downloading the report card, schools have been advised to study it carefully and share it with their teachers.

CBSE Secretary said that this step has been taken towards strengthening transparency, accountability and quality in the education system. This initiative is in line with the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes excellence and holistic development at every level of teaching.
