Aadhaar Card New Rules: Aadhar card is now required for almost every important work in the country. It is needed right from taking admission in school or college to availing the benefits of any government scheme. It has become the most important document as proof of identity and address.

In such a situation, changes are being made in the updated rules by UIDAI from November 1, 2025. Now those who update Aadhaar will have to pay charges as per the new rate. Higher fees will have to be paid from November 1

According to the new rules of UIDAI, from November 1, you will have to pay Rs 75 for updating name, address or mobile number in Aadhar card. If you want to update fingerprint, iris or photo. So its charge will be Rs 125. Whereas biometric update will be completely free for children of 5 to 7 years and 15 to 17 years. The facility of online document update is currently free till June 14, 2026.

But after that a charge of Rs 75 will have to be paid at the center for this service. Rs 40 for reprinting Aadhaar card and Rs 700 for the first person for home enrollment service. It is necessary to link PAN with Aadhar

UIDAI has issued a notice to every PAN card holder to link their PAN with Aadhaar by 31 December 2025. If you did not do this work as per the stipulated time. Then your PAN will become inactive from January 1, 2026. Due to this, neither you will be able to file income tax return nor you will be able to use PAN card in any financial transaction.
