Anant Singh’s arrest
Patna Police on Saturday arrested JDU candidate and controversial former MLA Anant Kumar Singh in the murder case of Jan Suraj worker Dularchand Yadav. Patna SSP Karthikeya Sharma, while confirming the arrest, said that the police is continuously investigating this case. The arrest of Anant Singh has created a new stir in the politics of Mokama, especially when the atmosphere for the assembly elections was already tense.
Let us tell you that on October 30, there was a clash between two political groups during the election campaign in Mokama. Stone pelting and firing took place during the clash, in which 75-year-old Jan Suraj worker Dularchand Yadav was killed and several people were injured.
