Bihar Elections 2025: ‘Earlier biryani was served to terrorists but PM Modi…’ Amit Shah’s sarcasm on Congress

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Monday (3 November 2025) that if the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government is formed, a defense corridor will be prepared in Bihar and factories will be set up in every district.

Amit Shah addressed election meetings in Sheohar, Sitamarhi and Madhubani. He expressed confidence that when the election results will be declared on November 14. By 1 pm on that day, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-Congress alliance will be wiped out and the NDA government will be formed again in Bihar.

Amit Shah said, “From the time of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya to the time of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gandak, Kosi and Ganga rivers have caused havoc due to floods in Bihar. If the NDA government is formed, a commission will be constituted to make the state flood-free. The Union Home Minister said, “50,000 hectares of land in the Mithila region will be irrigated using the water of Kosi river.” He said that projects worth Rs 11,000 crore are going on to prevent floods in the Mithila-Kosi region.

Amit Shah said, “Defense corridor will be prepared in the state and factories will be opened in every district.” Also, micro, small and medium industries (MSMI) and industrial parks will be created. The operation of ‘Vande Bharat Express’ train from Sitamarhi to Ayodhya will be started on the consecration day of the statue of Mother Sita in the temple. Shah said that he has laid the foundation stone of the Sita temple being built at a cost of Rs 850 crore in Punaura Dham.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Shah claimed, “Earlier, terrorists were served biryani, but within 10 days of the Pahalgam attack, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi eliminated the terrorists by running ‘Operation Sindoor’.” He said, “Explosives manufactured in the proposed defense corridor of Bihar will be used in future military operations against Pakistan.”

Union Minister Shah said that India is safe under the leadership of Modi and he ensured that Naxalism is eliminated from Bihar. He said, “For the first time in Naxal-free Bihar, voting will be held till 5 pm, whereas during RJD-Congress rule, voting used to end at 3 pm only due to fear of Maoists.”

The Union Minister said that the RJD government had made Bihar a hub of kidnapping, murder and extortion. He said that Nitish Kumar and Modi have paved the way for its prosperity.

Union Minister Shah said, “Prime Minister Modi has sanctioned Rs 18.70 lakh crore for Bihar in the last 10 years, whereas during Lalu Raj, the state had received only Rs 2.80 lakh crore.” He also alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wants to save infiltrators who are grabbing the food grains, jobs and benefits of the poor.

Amit Shah said, “Rahul Baba, I challenge you to hold as many infiltrator rallies as you want across the country, but the NDA will drive out every infiltrator from here.” Amit Shah said the Mithila region will be developed as a global knowledge hub at a cost of Rs 500 crore, while the Sitamarhi-Ayodhya Ram-Janaki path will be constructed at a cost of Rs 550 crore. Apart from this, Rs 5,000 crore will be spent on doubling of Ayodhya-Sitamarhi railway section.

Amit Shah said, “The airports of Patna, Darbhanga, Purnia and Bhagalpur will be developed as per international standards and a medical college will be established in every district of Bihar.” He alleged, “There were a lot of scams during the reign of Lalu Prasad, whereas only the duo of Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi can guarantee the development of Bihar.”
