The first look of Bollywood’s king Shahrukh Khan from his most awaited film ‘King’ has been revealed. Tremendous action and ferocious avatar of the superstar has been seen in the title announcement video of ‘King’. In such a situation, speculations are being made that Shahrukh Khan is going to be seen in the villain avatar in ‘King’. Now the superstar himself has unveiled his character in the film.
During the special fan meet on his 60th birthday, Shahrukh Khan talked about his role in ‘King’. He said- ‘I think, there is nothing interesting in the film. If we don’t do it, then within the same shots the hero will come, sing two songs, do two fights and go away. So, the character of ‘King’ is very interesting. Siddharth and Sujoy have written with a lot of love.

‘A good big film is made within a year or two’
Shahrukh Khan further said about his character in ‘King’ – ‘There are a lot of bad things in him. He is a murderer, kills people and doesn’t even ask how many, never asked. Now I am just trying to make a good big film within a year or two, because I also know that making films has become a little more difficult. So we should prepare very carefully, so that you are not disappointed.
Described his character in ‘King’ as ‘dark’ and ‘grey’
King Khan further says- ‘I will not say whether he is a villain or not… Yes, he is a very dark character. A very gray character, and I think will be very interesting. Very cruel. So whatever lines are there in it, I think it more or less reflects that character. So yes, I hope you guys will like it a lot. This does not mean that whatever he does, you should also do it.
‘It is not that the role of lead villain…’
Shahrukh Khan again said- ‘So it is not that I am playing the role of a lead villain, or only a negative role. This role is very good and very funny. I think the film Sid has done is very interesting and large scale. So I hope you enjoy the character.
