A few days ago, a person named Rohit Arya had taken 17 children hostage in RA Studio in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. These children had reached Powai’s recording studio for an audition, but Rohit Arya coaxed them and made them sit at one place and then informed the police that he had taken all the children hostage and wanted to fulfill some demands. Now another big revelation has come to light in this matter.
Former minister Deepak Kesarkar has made a big revelation in the Rohit Arya case. He has told that during the incident of children being held hostage by Rohit Arya, the police had called former minister Deepak Kesarkar while trying to convince him. This was confirmed by Deepak Kesarkar himself.
Ready to cooperate in investigation – Deepak Kesarkar
Deepak Kesarkar told that at that time it was necessary to give some concrete assurance to Arya to save the lives of the children. However, he had made it clear to the police that he was no longer a minister and only the concerned authorities could speak officially on the matter.
The former minister also said that if the police calls him for questioning in this matter, he is ready to cooperate fully. According to sources, the crime branch will soon contact Deepak Kesarkar to record his formal statement.
Rohit Arya died in encounter
It is noteworthy that Rohit Arya had already planned the hostage scandal regarding the alleged payment of dues of a project of Maharashtra Education Department. The government had rejected this claim. The official said that on the day of the incident, when it was learned that Rohit Arya wanted to talk to Kesarkar, the officials contacted the former minister.
The hostage taking incident took place at RA Studio located in Mahavir Classic Building in Powai area between 1.30 pm and 5.15 pm on Thursday (30 October) and during the operation, the hostages were finally rescued and Rohit Arya (50) died. Arya, who was injured in police firing, was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
