The winning Indian women’s cricket team of 2025 World Cup has reached Delhi. All the players of Team India have reached Delhi on Tuesday evening. Team India will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday morning. Last Sunday, Team India created history by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final. After 52 years, the Indian women’s cricket team was lucky to win the ODI World Cup trophy.
The final match was played in Navi Mumbai. When the Indian team and coach Amol Majumdar reached Mumbai airport to leave for Delhi, a large number of people gathered at the airport to say goodbye to them.
Will meet PM Modi tomorrow
It is being told that the Indian women’s cricket team will have breakfast with PM Modi on the morning of Wednesday, November 5. Last year, the 2024 T20 World Cup winning Indian men’s team was also hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also laughed a lot with other Indian players including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

History created after 52 years
Under the captaincy of Laura Wolfart, the South African team reached the final of the ODI World Cup for the first time. It entered the title clash by defeating 4-time champion England in the semi-finals. On the other hand, Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, defeated 7-time champion and defending champion Australia in the semi-finals and made it to the finals. In the final match, India defeated South Africa by 52 runs and won the World Cup trophy for the first time in 52 years.
