If you are dreaming of working in the banking sector, then Punjab National Bank (PNB) has brought a golden opportunity for you. The bank has invited applications for a total of 750 posts of Local Bank Officer (LBO). The application process for these posts has started from 3 November 2025 and will continue till 23 November 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of PNB.
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Also, the candidate should have basic knowledge of banking and knowledge of local language. Talking about age limit, the minimum age of the applying candidate should be 20 years and maximum age should be 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation, SC/ST candidates will get the benefit of five years, OBC candidates will get three years and disabled candidates will get the benefit of ten years.

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 48,480 to Rs 85,920. Along with this, allowances and other facilities will also be given as per the rules of the bank.
Selection will be like this
The selection process will be completed in three stages: online written examination, screening test and local language test, and interview. In the written examination, 150 questions will be asked from the candidates on subjects like Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis, English and General Awareness, which will be of total 150 marks. There will be negative marking of one-fourth mark for every wrong answer.
General and EWS category candidates must score at least 40 percent marks in the examination, while SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 35 percent marks. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for further screening test and interview. The final selection will be based on the overall performance of all the stages.
This much application fee will have to be paid
Talking about the application fee, the application fee for General, EWS and OBC category candidates has been fixed at Rs 1180. Whereas for SC/ST and Disabled (PWD) candidates this fee has been kept at only Rs 59. Payment can be made through online medium.

To apply, candidates have to visit the official website of PNB www.pnbindia.in. There you will have to fill the application form by clicking on the link “Recruitment for Local Bank Officer (LBO) 2025”. After uploading the required documents and paying the fee, submit the form and print a copy of it.
