A massive fire broke out in Mangalmurthy Dyeing Company located in Saravali MIDC area of Bhiwandi taluka in Maharashtra. The entire company was destroyed in this fire. The fire was so terrible that the first and second floors of the company were completely engulfed in flames.
Due to the huge stock of clothes in the company, the fire spread rapidly. As soon as information about the incident was received, vehicles from Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Ulhasnagar and Thane fire brigade reached the spot and started working hard to control the fire.
There is no news of any casualty in this incident, but the company has suffered a huge financial loss of lakhs of rupees.
While extinguishing the fire, the fire brigade personnel are facing a lot of difficulties due to lack of water. The lack of water in such a large MIDC area exposes the negligence of the administration. At present, fire department personnel are making efforts on war footing to control the fire.
