Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh rained heavily on the occasion. He also targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party. Kharge shared a post on X on Friday (November 7) saying that the RSS did not hoist the national flag for 52 years. Kharge said that BJP and RSS want to change the Constitution of the country.
Kharge asked for Vande Mataram through X post, ”1896 From then till today, in every meeting of the Congress, whether big or small, whether it is a convention or a block level meeting, we have sung Vande Mataram with pride and patriotism as a tribute to the people of India. The Congress Party reaffirms its unwavering faith in Vande Mataram, the eternal song of our motherland, the call for our unity and the voice of India’s immortal soul.
Congress President Kharge made serious allegations against RSS
Taking aim at the RSS, he said, “It is a well-known fact that the RSS and the Sangh Parivar supported the British against the Indians in the national movement. He did not hoist the national flag for 52 years, misused the Constitution of India. The RSS burnt the effigies of Bapu and Babasaheb Ambedkar and, in the words of Sardar Patel, were also involved in the assassination of Gandhiji.
