Regarding Bihar Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda has appealed to the people of the state to vote in favor of NDA. Union Health Minister JP Nadda addressed a public meeting in Govindganj assembly constituency of East Champaran district of Bihar on Friday (November 7, 2025).
JP Nadda said, ‘These elections are very important. I am associated with Bihar, I have spent 20 years of my life in Bihar. I have seen the tragedy of Bihar and have also been an eyewitness to the development of Bihar. That’s why I have come to request all of you that you have brought out the boat with great difficulty, now you have to keep it safely.
He said, ‘Lalu ji used to say that if we build a road then the police will come, avoid the police, drink toddi and be happy. Today, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Bihar government has connected 31,000 villages by road. 10-15 years ago there used to be electricity shortage in Bihar for 22-22 hours, but today the situation has changed. Now there is electricity 24 hours a day. I have also seen those days when we used to go to the inverter shop to charge the mobile and pay Rs 12 to get the mobile charged.
Women of Bihar should get Rs 10,000 each: Nadda
The Union Health Minister said, ‘Today Modi ji has laid 38,000 kilometers of optical fiber and connected 8,400 panchayats to the internet. Today YouTubers are sitting in every village and analyzing politics in their own language. At the same time, under the Women Employment Scheme, women of Bihar have been given Rs 10,000 each. You should again form the NDA government in Bihar, by sending Rs 2 lakh each into the accounts of women, they will be linked to self-employment.
JP Nadda spoke about Ayushman Bharat scheme
Union Health Minister JP Nadda said, ’10 years ago people used to come to me and say, Nadda ji, there is a cancer patient in my village, get him treated. If he gets himself treated, his land will be sold. Today, under Ayushman Yojana, 62 crore people of India are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Elderly people above 70 years of age are being given lifelong health cover up to Rs 5 lakh annually.
