It is clearly visible in the video that despite the huge crowd at the ghat, adequate arrangements for toilets were not made anywhere nearby. The result was that some people started defecating in public places. The special thing is that this view is of Namo Ghat which is said to be one of the dream projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
People were seen queuing up to toilet
It can be clearly seen in the video how people are seen lining up and toileting on the wall along the ghat. This video of Varanasi on the occasion of Dev Diwali is not only a shameful incident but also a warning that the real identity of a spiritual city lies in its cleanliness, discipline and culture. So another user wrote…these people did not even leave the holy ghat.
