In the fifth T20 match played at the historic Gabba ground in Brisbane, Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. When Shubhman Gill and Abhishek Sharma came to start the Indian innings, both of them started swinging the bat from the very beginning. Team India scored 19 runs in the first 2 overs, but within no time the score had reached 47 runs in 4 overs.

But in the third match, Team India made a comeback and won by 5 wickets. In this match, India won due to the lethal bowling of Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakraborty. After that, Team India won the fourth match and took a 2-1 lead in the series.
India was leading 2-1 in the series, so the cancellation of the Brisbane T20 match went in favor of the Indian team. As a result, they have won the series 2-1.
