Amidst the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference on Monday (November 10) and made a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the Central Government. Tejashwi said that even after 4 days, the Election Commission has not released the voting figures, which makes it clear that the Commission is hiding something. He raised the question as to why the Commission is not telling how many men and women voted.
Tejashwi said that the Election Commission has now become a tool of BJP and is dead. Tejashwi alleged that Home Minister Amit Shah is putting pressure on the officials. The Home Minister has no work, he is calling the district officials, many people are being picked up, pressure is being put on the administration.
‘Want to make Bihar their colony’
Tejashwi said that Amit Shah wants to make Bihar his colony. He alleged that 208 police companies have been sent to Bihar from BJP ruled states.
Tejashwi questioned that police have been brought from BJP ruled states UP, Gujarat, Assam, Rajasthan, Meghalaya, Goa, Uttarakhand, but why police from neighboring states like Jharkhand and Bengal did not come? Will the outside police now protect Bihar?”
He also said that CCTVs are being found switched off everywhere. Election Commission should tell why this is happening. Is all this being done deliberately to hide dishonesty?
Bihar will change after November 14, will become the most developed state
Tejashwi further said that this time a government with jobs is going to come in Bihar. He said that after November 14, Bihar will follow the path of becoming the most developed state. The public has made up its mind that this time a government will be formed that provides jobs. He claimed that this time history is going to be made in Bihar. People have voted for change.
Tejashwi said that he held 171 election meetings, and everywhere the mood of change was clearly visible among the public. “People of every society, every religion, every caste have supported us this time.
The RJD leader also targeted Nitish Kumar and the NDA government. He said that the people who have been ruling for 20 years have made Bihar one of the poorest and most backward states of the country. Highest migration, highest poverty and highest unemployment is in Bihar. Tejashwi said sarcastically, “There are two useless Deputy Chief Ministers, but no work has been done for the public.”
Tejashwi also mentioned the incidents of Samastipur and Sarairanjan. He said that you must have seen how the slips were thrown there, questions are being raised on the role of the administration. Everything is happening before the eyes of the Election Commission, but no action is being taken.
