Uttarakhand government has started the recruitment process for 1649 posts of basic teachers. Candidates will have to apply offline for these posts in various districts of the state. This opportunity is great for those youth who have passed TET and are looking for a job in the teaching field.
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have D.El.Ed or BTC along with graduation degree. Apart from this, the candidate must have passed Uttarakhand TET (UTET) examination. Only those candidates will be eligible to apply who fulfill all these conditions.
age limit
The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age at 42 years. Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2025. As per the rules of the state government, reserved categories will be given relaxation in maximum age. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation up to 5 years, OBC up to 3 years and disabled candidates up to 10 years.
What will be the salary?
Selected candidates will be given a salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month. This pay scale will come under Level-6 pay scale. Along with this, benefits of DA, HRA and other government allowances will also be available.
selection process
Candidates in this recruitment will be selected entirely on the basis of merit. There will be no written examination or interview of any kind. While preparing the merit list, the candidate’s academic marks, training marks and marks obtained in TET exam will be added. Selection will be done on the same basis.

Along with the application, candidates should submit educational qualification certificate, D.El.Ed or BTC training certificate, TET certificate, residence certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), passport size photograph and signature.
