Continuous investigation is going on in the blast case that took place near the Red Fort on Monday (10 November) evening in Delhi. There was a massive explosion in a vehicle parked near Red Fort Metro Station-1, due to which a massive fire spread nearby. So far 12 people have died in this, while many are injured. A surprising thing has come to light in the initial investigation of the police in the Dilla blast case.

Initial investigation by Delhi Police has found that the car explosion near the Red Fort could be a ‘fidayeen’ (suicide) attack.

Blast carried out after Faridabad terror module was busted

If Delhi Police sources are to be believed, this reveals the motive of the suspect behind the blast. As soon as he came to know that the Faridabad module had been busted, he planned a suicide attack. All concerned agencies are working on all aspects to find out the motive behind the blast.

Security increased at all historical sites

According to Delhi Police sources, security has been increased in all the historical places, major markets and crowded areas of Delhi. NSG DG is also present in the meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This also includes Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director IB Tapan Deka, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha and DG NIA. Apart from this, DGP of Jammu and Kashmir also joined the meeting through video conferencing.

Investigative agencies are taking data of all phones around Red Fort

After the Delhi blast, the investigating agencies are taking dump data of all the mobile phones operating in the areas around the Red Fort. From the dump data, agencies can get clues about the phone numbers which are related to this car blast. Dump data of Red Fort parking and its surroundings is also being obtained.

The people sitting in the car in which the explosion took place must have communicated with each other in some way or the other. Therefore, parking phone data is being considered important. In Faridabad also, communication is being ascertained through dump data to find out how many people were in contact with each other.
