As the investigation in Delhi’s Red Fort blast case progresses, many shocking revelations have come to light. 12 people were killed and more than 20 were injured in this blast that took place on the evening of 10 November. Now the central government has declared this blast as a ‘terrorist incident’. The investigating agencies have said that they have found evidence of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s involvement in this entire network and of contacts with Pakistan through Telegram chats.
Center accepted this terrorist attack
The government has confirmed that the explosion was not an ordinary accident but a planned terrorist attack. FIR related to the blast was already registered under UAPA and Explosives Act. The statement issued after the meeting of the Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi said – ‘The country witnessed a despicable terrorist incident near the Red Fort on the evening of 10 November, which was carried out by anti-national forces. India will stick to the policy of ‘zero tolerance’ towards terrorism.
Hasty explosion or conspiracy?
The investigating agencies are still trying to find out whether the blast was a pre-planned attack or a panic attack after the arrest of the terrorist module in Faridabad. Initial investigation suggests that as soon as the police reached near the Faridabad module, the suspects exploded in panic.
‘Jaish angle’ found in Telegram chat
While examining the mobile phones of the doctors caught from Faridabad, the police have found evidence of conversations with Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed handlers in Telegram chats. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the arrested accused are highly educated and influenced by fundamentalist ideology. According to a senior officer, ‘Initial investigation of the digital device found that the accused were in direct contact with Jaish handlers on Telegram.’
Investigating agencies also recovered a third car
The security agencies involved in the investigation of the Red Fort blast case have also found a third suspicious car. According to sources, this is the same Maruti Brezza, the use of which the accused were suspected. A white Hyundai i20 car exploded in the blast that took place on Monday evening, while another red Ford EcoSport car was later recovered from Faridabad. Now with the recovery of the third Brezza car, the investigating agencies have got another major success in this case.
Doctor Shaheen’s past
Dr. Zafar Hayat, former husband of arrested doctor Shaheen Shahid, told the media that he never expected that Shaheen would go on this path. He told that both of them were married in the year 2003, they have two children. Zafar told that Shaheen always talked about going abroad. Zafar and Shaheen separated in 2015. Zafar says that there has been no contact between the two since the end of the marriage.
Confirmation of Turkey trip – handlers were found there
Investigation has also revealed that accused Dr. Umar Nabi and his partner Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai had gone to Turkey in the year 2022. Although the complete details of the trip have not been made public yet, but officials believe that both of them had met their terrorist handlers there.
Investigation continues, many new layers are expected to be revealed
The investigating agencies are now trying to find out who actually planned the blast, and whether this network also has any international connection. Officials say that there may be more big revelations in the coming days, which will reveal the complete picture of this terrorist conspiracy.
