The search is on for the car blast near Red Fort in Delhi. In this connection, the investigating agencies have got a new clue regarding the activities of Jammu and Kashmir terrorist Dr. Adil Ahmed. A flight ticket was found in the garbage lying outside his rented house in Mankamau area of Saharanpur. The ticket is for 31st October. It contains information about travel from Srinagar to Delhi.
If sources involved in the investigation are to be believed, this clearly indicates that Adil was present in Delhi about ten days before the blast. Now investigation is being done as to whom he met there and when he returned to Saharanpur.
Was arrested on 6th November
Adil was arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police from Saharanpur on 6 November. During interrogation, it was revealed that an AK-47 rifle was recovered from his house in Kashmir. It was only after his arrest that the case of explosive material being found in Faridabad came to light.
On the other hand, the explosion that took place near Red Fort metro station on November 10 has complicated the mystery of this network. The investigating agencies are now investigating whether Adil’s visit to Delhi was part of the same conspiracy or whether he had reached there for some ‘command’.
Ticket found during search in vacant plot
His rented house in Aman Vihar Colony of Mankamau is currently closed. He is being constantly monitored. This ticket was found only while searching in nearby vacant plots. Adil’s name and date of flight are recorded on it.
If sources are to be believed, the police have currently recovered this ticket and kept it in custody. It has been sent for forensic investigation as important evidence. The agencies are also investigating who Adil was in contact with during his stay in Delhi. Does the same link go to the bang?
There was a blast in Delhi on 10th November.
There was an explosion in an i20 car outside Delhi’s Red Fort metro station at around 6:52 pm on November 10. 12 people lost their lives in this explosion. NIA is investigating regarding this. Apart from several arrests, the investigation so far has revealed that many inflammable substances including ammonium nitrate were used in the explosion.
