Ending the wait of students, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has released the datesheet of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10th and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12th Board Exam 2026. According to official information, these examinations will start from February 2026. Students who are going to appear in these examinations can now view and download the complete datesheet by visiting the official website of CISCE, cisce.org.
Both board exams will start from February
According to the released schedule, this time the board examinations of class 10th and 12th will start in the month of February. ICSE i.e. 10th examination will start from 17 February 2026 and will continue till 30 March 2026, while ISC i.e. 12th examination will be conducted from 12 February to 6 April 2026.
Compared to previous years, this time the examinations are starting earlier, due to which students are expected to get their results on time. It is being told that this year about 2.6 lakh students will appear in the ICSE (10th) and 1.5 lakh students will appear in the ISC (12th) examination.
Big relief for students
With the release of the exam datesheet, students will now find it easier to decide their study strategy. Many students and parents were waiting for this datesheet for a long time, so that they could finalize their preparations. Now students can speed up their exam preparation by making a subject wise preparation time table.
ICSE 10th board exam will start from this day
ICSE class 10th examination will start from 17th February 2026 and will continue till 30th March. During this period, students will have to appear for examinations in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and other subjects.
ISC 12th board exam will start from this day
ISC class 12th examination will start from 12th February 2026 and will continue till 6th April. The major subjects for class 12th students include subjects like English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounts, Economics and Political Science.
