In the initial trends of vote counting for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the ruling NDA has crossed the majority mark. In Bihar, which has a total of 243 seats, NDA is leading on 132 seats, while the grand alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav is leading on 72 seats. There have been trends of 5 seats in the account of others. The initial trends have created a new stir in the politics of Bihar.

JDU said- “Nitish’s government is coming again”

As soon as the trend came, a big reaction came from JDU. The party wrote on Twitter, “Bihar is ready, Nitish’s government is coming again.” This post has clearly indicated that JDU is once again projecting Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister.

Although no formal announcement has been made by NDA yet on CM face, but this statement of JDU itself says a lot. It has also become clear from this message of the party that JDU is eyeing to once again hand over the command of power to Nitish Kumar.

Stir in NDA camp, silence in grand alliance

As NDA’s lead strengthened, the commotion in BJP and JDU offices increased. Workers have started preparing for the celebration, although the wait for the official results continues. On the other hand, there has been no strong reaction from the Grand Alliance camp yet. Tejashwi Yadav has instructed his workers to remain alert at the counting centres, but the atmosphere is calm at present.

Will the command come into the hands of Nitish again?

Initial trends show that if this trend continues then Nitish Kumar’s return to power can be considered almost certain. Despite the political ups and downs in the last few years, if he becomes the Chief Minister again, it will be a great example of his political skills and grip. However, only the final results will decide who will be the new leadership of Bihar. But from the trends, JDU has made it clear that their choice is still CM Nitish Kumar.
