Continuous investigation is going on in the Faridabad Terror Module and Red Fort blast cases. Meanwhile, Dr. Priyanka Sharma of Rohtak has been detained in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir for questioning regarding Adil. Now the reaction of Priyanka Sharma’s family has come to light. Priyanka’s brother Bharat said that neither we nor Priyanka have any relation with Adil even remotely. Talked to Priyanka last night at around 9:00 pm, there was no contact after that. After talking to the roommate, it came to light that the investigating agency had taken him for questioning.
He further said, “Priyanka has gone to Jammu and Kashmir to do her PhD and lives in the college hostel. After questioning, the investigating agency seized the mobile phone of Dr. Priyanka Sharma. We will cooperate fully in the investigation. Dr. Adil was his senior in the MD course and because of this he must have been talking to him.
We have no connection with terrorist Adil’
Priyanka is working as a medical officer in Dighal, Jhajjar. She has gone to Jammu and Kashmir to study MD in Medicine. Brother further said, “Priyanka talks with her family every night on video call. We have no connection of any kind with terrorist Adil or any such network.
Counter-intelligence teams of Jammu and Kashmir Police raided a rented flat in Malknag area of Anantnag and detained Dr. Priyanka Sharma of Rohtak. Forensic examination of the seized mobile phones and SIM cards is being conducted.
The police initiated the crackdown following the arrest of Dr Adil, a former GMC employee, whose interrogation led to the discovery of people allegedly providing logistics or financial support to the network. On the basis of call-detail records, officials have traced the address of Dr. Priyanka Sharma. Dr. Adil was arrested from Saharanpur in UP in the Faridabad Module and Red Fort blast case.
