KVS NVS Vacancy 2025: Bumper recruitment of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya, BEd and TET candidates will get a chance


The biggest good news of this year has come for the candidates waiting for jobs in Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya. Teaching and non-teaching recruitment has started for thousands of posts in both the institutions and applications have also been started from November 14. CBSE has released the complete notification of recruitment and candidates can easily apply through the official website.

This time the recruitment is so big that candidates of almost every category, every qualification and every subject will get the opportunity to apply. A total of 14,967 posts including KVS and NVS will be filled through the recruitment drive. These include TGT, PGT, Primary Teacher, Principal, Vice Principal, Librarian as well as many non-teaching posts. This is being considered a golden opportunity for lakhs of candidates who dream of jobs in government schools.

The best thing is that BEd and TET pass candidates are getting a large number of opportunities for teaching posts. For TGT, it is necessary to have passed B.Ed and CTET along with graduation in the relevant subject, whereas for PGT, the condition of B.Ed with post graduation has been kept. At the same time, for primary teacher, qualification like D.El.Ed or BTC along with 12th and CTET is mandatory. For posts like Principal and Vice Principal, 9 to 12 years of experience has been sought with Masters and B.Ed. For non-teaching posts, 10th pass, 12th pass, graduate or diploma holders will also be able to apply as per their qualification.

This much application fee will have to be paid

The application fee has also been decided according to the posts. For senior posts like Principal, Vice Principal and Assistant Commissioner, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2800, whereas for SC-ST category it is only Rs 500. For PGT, TGT and Primary Teacher, the fee has been fixed at Rs 2000 for general candidates and Rs 500 for SC-ST. The fees for non-teaching staff like clerk, steno and lab attendant has been kept at Rs 1700 for general category and Rs 500 for other categories.

Selection will be like this

The selection process is also transparent and easy. Selection for all posts will be done through written examination. There may also be interviews for some senior posts. Final selection will be made after examining the candidates’ ability, knowledge and understanding of the subject. The special thing about this recruitment is that the doors are open for candidates from every field, from teaching to administrative and technical.

How to apply?

The recruitment process is completely online and applying has been kept very simple. The candidate must first register on the official website of CBSE. Then you will have to fill the application form by logging in with the registration number. In this, name, address, date of birth, educational qualification, experience, category and other important information will have to be filled. After this, documents like photo and signature will be uploaded. After depositing the application fee, the form will have to be submitted and at the end it will be necessary to take a print of it.
