
Under recruitment, a total of 587 posts have been divided into four parts. Among these, the maximum number of general posts of Nursing Officer (Male/Female) is 336. After this, 144 posts have been kept for Nursing Officer (Male) diploma holders. There are 75 posts available for Nursing Officer (female) degree holders and 32 posts for Nursing Officer (male) degree holders.

Talking about the qualification, for Nursing Officer, it is mandatory for the candidates to have a diploma in B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery i.e. GNM from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Along with this, it is also necessary that the candidate should be actively registered with Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun.

Talking about the application fee, the board has fixed the fees according to different categories. General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 300. The fee for candidates belonging to economically weaker section i.e. EWS, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category has been kept at Rs 150.

Disabled candidates can also apply by paying a fee of Rs 150. The thing to note is that this fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, hence before filling the form, be sure to check all the necessary documents and eligibility.

Selected candidates will get pay matrix level 7 as per the Seventh Pay Commission, which can start from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month.

Candidates must first visit the official website of UKMSSB ukmssb.org. For new registration there, click on “New Registration” and fill your basic information to get user ID and password. Then login and fill the details. After this the candidates have to upload their documents like photo, signature, educational certificate and nursing registration certificate. Finally the application fee will have to be deposited and the form will have to be submitted.
