Rising Star Asia Cup 2025: 4 teams of Rising Stars Asia Cup decided, the entire lineup of the semi-finals is out, who will get the ticket for the final?


Rising Star Asia Cup 2025: The group stage of Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 was full of excitement and now the tournament has entered the knockout stage. After three league matches each, the four semi-final teams have been decided – India A, Pakistan A, Sri Lanka A and Bangladesh A. Both the semi-final matches will be played on 21st November, in which India will face Bangladesh while Pakistan will face Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka made place from Group A

In Group A, Bangladesh A and Sri Lanka A qualified for the semi-finals. Bangladesh won two out of three matches and secured 4 points and progressed on the basis of net run rate. On the other hand, Sri Lanka performed strongly, winning two out of three matches and topped the group.

Afghanistan finished on equal points with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in Group A, but due to poor net run rate, they were out of the race for the semi-finals. Hong Kong was out of the tournament without a win after losing all three matches.

Pakistan unbeaten in Group B

In Group B, Pakistan A performed strongly and won all three matches and got the ticket directly for the semi-finals. Pakistan secured first position in the group with 6 points. Whereas India A won two out of three matches and entered the last four by finishing second with 4 points.

Oman won one match but could not advance, while UAE did not get any win and had to be eliminated from the tournament from the beginning.

Both semi-finals will be held on 21st November

Both the semi-final matches will be played on the same day on 21st November.

First Semi-Final: India A vs Bangladesh A, 3 pm

Second semi-final: Pakistan A vs Sri Lanka A, 8 pm

The winning teams will face each other in the final to be played in Doha on 23 November.

India’s journey so far
India A started the tournament with a bang. In the first match, the team made a great start by defeating UAE by 148 runs. However, in the second match, Pakistan A gave a big shock by defeating India by 8 wickets. Despite this, the team defeated Oman by 6 wickets in the last league match and secured a place in the semi-finals.

Now a strong performance is expected from India in the semi-finals against Bangladesh. On the other hand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also ready to give their full strength to move towards the title.
