Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took oath as CM for the tenth time after the formation of NDA government at Gandhi Maidan in Patna today and set a new record. A total of 26 ministers also took oath along with him, which includes three women ministers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister and many NDA leaders were present in the swearing-in ceremony.

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath of secrecy to the Chief Minister and ministers. Patna ground was filled with NDA leaders and workers since morning.

Three women ministers in the cabinet

After Nitish Kumar took oath as Chief Minister, the rest of the cabinet and state ministers were sworn in. A total of 26 ministers have taken oath. Three women ministers include Lacey Singh, Rama Nishad and Shreyasi Singh. Shreyasi Singh and Rama Nishad are MLAs from BJP and Lacey Singh from JDU. There was talk of Uprendra Kushwaha’s wife Snehlata also taking oath. But at present he did not get a place in the cabinet. After the oath, CM Nitish Kumar congratulated everyone and talked about living up to the expectations of the people of Bihar.

The members who took oath as other ministers included Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Shravan Kumar, Mangal Pandey, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Ashok Chaudhary, Madan Sahni, Nitin Naveen, Ramkripal Yadav, Santosh Kumar Suman, Sunil Kumar Mohd. Jama Khan, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Arun Shankar Prasad, Surendra Mehta, Narayan Prasad, Lakhendra Kumar Roshan, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Deepak Prakash are also included.

PM Modi congratulated

PM Narendra Modi, who was present at the ceremony, congratulated Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the Cabinet of Bihar Government and wished them all the best to work for the development of the people of Bihar. Let us tell you here that this time the NDA alliance had won 202 seats, breaking the record of victory.
