Social media influencer Ori’s troubles have increased. He has been called today by Mumbai Police on the basis of the statement of accused Salim Sheikh arrested in the MD drugs case worth Rs 252 crore. Sources say that Sheikh had told in his statement that Ori and Alishah Parkar, nephew of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, are good friends.
Not only this, Sheikh also claimed that Ori also takes drugs and also goes to drug parties. To investigate these allegations, the Anti Narcotics Unit of Mumbai Police has today asked Ori to come to the Ghatkopar unit and present his side.
Ori asked for time
Ori has sought time from Mumbai Police. Ori’s lawyer told the police that since Ori was not available, he would be able to come before the investigating agency for questioning only after 25th November. The police is considering giving him time, yet another summons has not been sent.
Police sources also said that those involved in this drugs network (buyers or sellers) used Zengi, Signal, Trima, Instagram and FaceTime to communicate with each other. Sources also claimed that all the people associated with Bollywood and politics who were named by Sheikh will be called for questioning.
The accused had claimed that he had earlier organized drug parties in the country and abroad with Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhaan, Abbas Mastan, Loka and many other persons.
Nora Fatehi gave clarification
After Nora Fatehi’s name surfaced in this case, the actress has given clarification by sharing a post on social media. She had written- ‘For your information, I do not go to parties. I am working continuously. I don’t have any personal life. I don’t associate myself with such people. If I take leave, I like to spend time at my home in Dubai or with close people. I feel like my name is an easy target. But I will not let all this happen again.
